Ready, set, go....to your spatulas

We have to begin somewhere...Last week, we presented our kitchen to the world. We had every intention to do as much Do-it-Yourself (DIY) as possible...But come on! It's good to know your limits once in a while.
Our home is looking patchy. We spent last week end patching holes, cracks and knicks from the walls.

 Seriously, who wants to paint 12 feet high ceilings, so here comes the part about us knowing our DIY limits: We have hired a painter to do the interior of the house...Hourray! No monkeying on ladders for us. Those colors are just too vibrant (or violent...) for us to even attempt to live with it!

In the meanwhile we have racked the leaves from the front yard...Yes i did say leaves: The previous owner hasn't cleaned the yard since spring 2011.

More spring cleaning to come: Power washing the house, the windows and drive way, cleaning the windows inside, we still have to pick up leaves from the back yard and getting the air ducts professionnaly cleaned.
