Christmas is not about having a perfectly decorated tree and a well lite house. It is not about buying the latest gadget for your loved ones or even about going somewhere quiet for the holidays.
Christmas is about having a house full of kids giggling or screaming, crying cause its 10 o'clock and we are still in our pj's and haven't had breakfast yet. Can you tell that Makayla and Nahla wanted those crepes!
Christmas is about taking each minute to love each other and making cookies for santa Clause. Its about playing together endlessly, fighting for the same toys and being silly. Christmas is about having a curry cookoff and stuffing your face so much with 6 different kinds of curry that for the following 5 days the word "CUMIN" makes your stomach churn!
We spent our holidays with our family in Winnipeg. It was awesome! We did...nothing...prepared lots of food, ate, ate and ate again. We didn't plan our days. We just went with the flow...Christmas is about not going to bed early, having a temper tantrum the next day at one...But its cool as long as you had a smashing night with your best friend!
Christmas is about forgetting all your troubles and seizing the opportunity to be a kid and marvel in the splendor of the holidays.
Christmas is about taking the time to set up all of your kids toys (the crane, as well as the track!)
If all year round we were as carefree, happy and loving as on Christmas, the world would be perfect.THANK YOU MEL FOR MAKING OUR HOLIDAYS AWSOME!!! We LOVE YOU!
